The thoughtful welcome basket for our dog made our stay truly special, while the riverside location was perfect for evening strolls. However, the stains on the carpet were a letdown and slightly marred the experience.

Great staff and cozy atmosphere
During my recent stay, I encountered friendly staff eager to help despite some hiccups with breakfast service. The bar offered delightful drinks, making it a great spot for relaxation. Pro tip, Arrive early for breakfast to avoid the wait, especially on weekends!

fantastic proximity to theatres and scenic park views
During my stay, I loved the short walk of less than 5 minutes to the RSC Theatre and appreciated the beautiful views of Bancroft Gardens right outside my window, which made my walks around the city so enjoyable. As a solo traveler, I found my room comfortable, and it was great to have parking available at a reasonable price, making my explorations stress-free.

i recently stayed at this hotel for a christmas party and it really exceeded my expectations. the room was a spacious club double with a huge comfortable bed, and the location made exploring the town super easy. overall, it offered a fantastic experience compared to my previous visit in stratford-upon-avon.
breakfast service was quite slow.

The Swan's Nest Hotel had a great location right by the River Avon and just a short walk to the town center. I enjoyed the comfortable Deluxe Double Room, complete with a king-size bed and a clean bathroom. The staff at check-in were friendly and made the process smooth. The breakfast was decent, offering some tasty options, but it wasn’t exceptional. I faced a bit of confusion during breakfast regarding the seating. One downside was the lack of attention from the restaurant staff. a more engaging service would elevate the dining experience significantly. The parking situation could improve. I had to use a nearby lot since the hotel car park was full. It’s a lovely hotel overall, but the service in the restaurant could use some enhancements to live up to its 4-star rating.

This place suits me perfectly! They provide free wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and excellent luggage storage. On my first stay, the staff recommended a great local taxi service, which I still remember fondly. I'd recommend trying the local drinks at the bar!

Delectable French cuisine served at the onsite restaurant, with a cozy ambiance that makes any meal intimate. Prime location just a stroll away from the River Avon, perfect for leisurely walks and exploration.
The breakfast options could use a serious upgrade, featuring rubbery eggs and undercooked sausages—definitely not top-notch. While the bar had good vibes, it closed too early for late-night relaxation, limiting evening options. Public toilets also fell short, with several out of service during peak hours, which is inconvenient when nature calls.

The spaciousness of the Club Double Room was impressive and truly stood out during our stay. We enjoyed the welcoming common areas, which added to the overall atmosphere of relaxation.
Some rooms seem untouched by recent updates.

Just a good pick for a walk in the evening in Stratford-upon-Avon with best value. The room service was quick, and we loved relaxing in the suite's lounge. Consider asking about breakfast options in advance.

The Swan's Nest is a delightful place for foodies! The lovely local joints like The Boat House and The Bear Free House are just a stroll away, serving top-notch grub. We also enjoyed a solid breakfast service with fab yoghurt that kicked off our day! Don't forget to check out the riverside terrace at Cox's Yard for a lark.
The rear entrance can smell a bit ripe from laundry piles, and the room could use a refresh—faded curtains and ancient carpets don’t quite cut it! A comfy bed, though, makes up for a lot.

The Swan'S Nest Hotel had charming decor with cozy seating areas, making it easy to relax. It is perfectly located for seniors like me, as it is just a delightful stroll across the river to explore the town.
More assistance with luggage would be helpful.

I booked a night at Swan's Nest to celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary with my wife. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and the room upgrade was an absolutely delightful surprise. The staff's gesture of offering us a welcome drink made us feel special. The decor and ambiance of the room genuinely impressed us. However, I found the external door near the car park should've been locked to ensure more security. We enjoyed our time at breakfast, but the quality could be improved. The food was decent, but it didn't meet the expectations set by the hotel's offerings. The location was perfect for our strolls around Stratford-upon-Avon, making up for minor hiccups during our stay. Overall, I appreciated the friendliness of the hotel staff and their efforts to create a memorable experience, while also hoping for enhancements in certain aspects of the service.
